The house has been architecturally designed to provide a holiday retreat that indulges the senses. An open plan living area, high ceilings and the use of glass throughout create a spacious living environment that is both an ideal holiday location and a resting place for appreciating natural surrounds. Greywacke boulders and indigenous plants have been positioned to provide vistas from windows and create privacy while simultaneously preserving the natural beauty of Lake Ohau and the surrounding beech trees and tussocks.
The house is especially popular for honeymoons, writer's and artist's retreats, and celebrations of special events such as anniversaries.It is available for rental on a weekly basis from Friday to Friday throughout the year. The same weekly rental fee applies all year.
